Thanksgiving Feast

We went down to visit Hannah's Great-Grandparents for Thanksgiving this year, and had a good time. Mom Mom got to bring all of her old dolls out of the closet and Hannah got to play with them. There was way too much food of course, but it was yummy.
Grandpop having a good time with the kiddos.
Hannah ran right into Grandpop's arms when we got there and wanted to be held. It just melted Grandpop's heart. Andrew wasn't as cooperative, but we finally got a good picture of them.
The only apron I could find was one that said HERB on it, so we all got a good laugh out of that.

Andrew is 6 months old

Our little guy is now 6 months old. Time sure is flying by. He has started eating rice cereal (which he loves) and today he ate carrots for the first time (he wasn't a big fan of them though). He has mastered turning from his tummy to his back, and he is almost able to sit up by himself. He hasn't cut any teeth yet, but he sure is drooling a lot, so it should be any day now. Happy Birthday baby Andrew (His 6 month birthday was 3 days ago... but whose counting).

Hannah flying

Hannah loves flying through the air in daddy's arms. She is quite the acrobat, so we are glad that she's got a big strong daddy to catch her.

A trip to Apple Hill

Last weekend, we went on our annual trip to Apple Hill, that had tons of different Apple Orchards, and it's about a 45 minute drive from our house. We went to one of the bigger orchards called High Hill Ranch that has many different family friendly attractions. We all had a great time, but I think Hannah had the most fun. She wanted to do everything she saw in sight. We got to go on a hay ride (top picture) that took us on a tour of the Apple orchard, there was a pond where she got to admire the ducks, they had a real wolf in a cage that she got to look at (from a distance of course), and her favorite thing that she is still talking about...she got to go on a horsey ride (the horse's name was Bubbles).

Our little guitar player

Hannah has been very interested in playing the guitar like daddy, so we snapped a picture of her singing a made up song that had the words "feeding the fishy's" and "Hannah likes bannanas" in it. We got a good laugh out of it. She's even holding the guitar correctly! Ahh, she's definitely a quick learner.

Kitty Cat and Hot Dog

Hannah had a great time trick or treating at our church. She loved her kitty costume. Of course she got a ton of candy which she was very excited about, as you can see from the picture above.

This is a picture of Hannah's good friends Zachary and Aaron that she got to trick or treat with.
We were all surprised when Hannah wanted to go on the big bouncy houses they had there for the kids to play with. She went with her friend Chase on the tallest one there, and jumped off of it like a big girl. We were so proud of her.
Baby Andrew (aka Hot dog) finally woke up just as we were leaving so we quickly put his costume on and got a picture.

Testing out the new stroller

I tried out our new stroller for the first time yesterday, and absolutely love it. Thank you EMF Engineering!!! :) Now, all I have to do is motivate myself to start jogging with it. I think I would just look silly trotting behind a brand new, really nice jogging stroller...it would be like driving a brand new Ferrari and just taking it out for a leisure drive down the block...both were meant for speed...you know what I mean?

Baby Kisses

Hannah absolutely adores her baby brother, and loves to give him kisses. This is usually the surprised look Andrew has on his face when she's giving them. Overall though, Andrew usually gives Hannah most of his attention when she is around. She has been the only one who has gotten him to give us a really good belly laugh. She usually dances around him and says "Raspberries" really loud, and he laughs out loud every time. Ahhh, I hope this affection they have for each other lasts a long time.

Making Jack-o-lanterns

Over the weekend we thought it would be a fun project to make a jack-o-lantern with Hannah. She loved all the icky-sticky pumpkin pulp, and of course spending quality time with Daddy. Note to anybody wanting to make a jack-o-lantern early: 3-4 days after we carved the pumpkin there was a lovely pile of mold inside of it (Yuk!). Good thing there are still several pumpkins left that we haven't carved yet. :)

Drool Cowboy

Since Hannah's cowboy hat doesn't fit her anymore, she decided to put it on baby Andrew. Awww. You can see by the lovely wet spot on his jacket that he is currently in the drool stage. Yeehaaw!!

Our Fashion Diva

A couple weeks ago Hannah wanted to take her puppy for a walk, so she put the puppy in the stroller, got her "purse" and put a bunch of her necessities in there (like plastic jewelry, a plastic plate and spoon)hung it around her shoulder and put an old calculator to her ear pretending it was a phone. That was how she walked around the house for almost half an hour talking to all her friends. It was fun to watch and we all got lot's of laughs out of it.

Bear attack

If you see a bear like this one around...BEWARE....even though he looks cute at first, he has the habit of grabbing your hair and yanking it out as he did to Hannah right after this picture was taken.

Taking a walk by the river

We took a walk by the fish hatchery today and saw some really cool birds, like this blue heron above. It's supposed to hit 105 today, so in honor of the heat, Hannah is modeling the pink visor Grandma Sherry gave her.
We hope to go the Salmon Festival this year and see some fish go up the ladders. Last year we went, but the Salmon came later in the year because the water level was so low. Hopefully we will have better luck this year!

Andrew is 3 months old!!!

Time sure is flying by for us. Andrew is a very smiley, content and happy baby...unless he is hungry, tired or needs to be changed of course. I've got to say, it is starting to get a lot easier to manage two kids. At first, it was a little overwhelming (okay...honestly...it was very overwhelming) but Hannah is getting used to having a little brother and is a little more patient when his needs need to be met before hers. We definitely have our good and bad days, but there are starting to be more good days than bad ones. YEY! :) Hope you enjoy these pictures of Andrew!!!

Day at the Beach

Over Labor Day weekend we went to the beach! Hannah absolutely loves the water and didn't want to get out. She coaxed daddy to get in with her and she got him all wet as you can see from the picture above.

Pigtail mania

Our own little Strawberry Shortcake...except Hannah is much cuter!

Pajama Party

Hannah wanted to sleep next to baby Andrew in his crib and "snuggle."

Ready to dive in

Hannah and Andrew getting ready to go to the swimming pool at my friend Kaci's house. Hannah says "when baby Andrew get bigger, THAN he can go in the swimming pool." So, poor baby Andrew has to watch from the sidelines for now, until his is bigger.

Look who we found in the dryer

Miss Hannah....always the trouble maker. How can you resist such a smile though, eh?

Playing in the Dirt

This has become Hannah's favorite past time lately. So, needless to say, she probably gets 2 or 3 baths a day. Ahhh, the joys of being a kid!!!

Catching up on some pictures

It's been awhile since Easter but these pictures are too cute to pass up.

Its official, she's two, but not quite terrible

It was HOT HOT HOT as the biggest party of the year took off! Hannah turned two and it went down with a splash.

In a rare turn of events, Andrew slept through the entire thing.

When you throw trash on the ground you hurt Earth a litter bit

The title of the blog really has nothing to do with what the blog is about, I've just had this pun stuck in my head for the last three days and I needed to tell someone. You, are that lucky someone.

The pun is about as bad as I have been at updating the blog, so I really apologize for both. As most of you know Kristina has finally given birth to a really, really cute baby boy Sunday (5/25) morning at 3:58 AM. We are so happy that he's finally here and available to be hugged and or kissed by anyone.

The details are nice and easy. Andrew came out at 8lbs exactly and 20in long. He's been feeding like a champ and should be around 50lbs by the end of the summer. I'm pretty sure he's going to play some professional sport, I just hope its not speed eating hot dogs.

Enough ribble rabble though, I think its time to get to the pictures

Here is Andrew just moments after coming into this world

After being weighed and cleaned up Mommy got to hold the little guy

It didn't take long for Hannah to warm up to her new baby brother

After a full 36 hours into his life, Hannah still can't take her hands off him

We have plenty more pictures and some video now that Andrew is nearly two weeks old. Time sure flys, but we can't stop having fun with our new pile of cuteness. Hopefully I will get to the next set much faster than I was able to on this one.
