Our Halloween started on a Friday when Hannah had a parade at her preschool. All the kids got to show off their costumes and of course there were a lot of pictures taken by us parents.
Hannah posing with her two good friends Marissa and Amber. Hannah was the only girl that didn't have a "girly" costume. We got the dalmatian outfit as a hand me down, and since Hannah didn't object to it, we decided to be frugal and go with it!
Here's Hannah's preschool class with Miss Cathie, all lined up. At the end of showing off the costumes to the parents, Hannah took hers off. It was much too hot she said.
On Saturday, we carved some pumpkins up. Hannah wanted Tinkerbell and Andrew wanted McQueen. We found a pattern for Tinkerbell but couldn't find a free one online for McQueen, so Andrew got an Owl instead.
Hannah thought scooping out the seeds was "eww, gross."
Of course Sir Andrew had to give a noble effort, and see what all the fuss was about.
He was a big boy about it.
Here are our creation by day.
And by night.
Finally Halloween Day arrived. Hannah went as a Dalmatian dog, and Andrew was a Doggie bone. They had to match, right? We got to do some pre-trick or treating with their friend Tyler who went as a train engineer.
Don't these two look sneaky? :) This was taken after they rang the doorbell of a neighbor about 20 times and banged on the door.
Here's trunk or treating with Daddy at our Lakeside Church.
Here's posing in front of a bounce house with their friend Jasmine. After a long day, everybody was exhausted, including and especially mommy and daddy.
