Hannah's first ballet lesson

Hannah joined ballet with her friend Bethany, and she had a great time. It sure brings back lot's of memories when I was in ballet. Thank you so much to all the family and friends who contributed to Hannah's outfit and lessons. She was so cute!
She did a fairly good job following the instructor's lead, except she hasn't quite figured out yet what standing behind other kids in a straight line means. :)
Hannah doing a "basket of flowers" just like the instructor demonstrated.
One of her favorite things to do is to make silly faces at the large mirror on the wall.

Quality Time with Hannah

This is just a picture I really liked of Hannah and I.
Hannah LOVES to have books read to her. We go to the library every week to pick out new books, and we usually come home with about 10-15 new ones. She knows the letters of the alphabet, so now we are working on sounding out the letters of a word.

Choo-Choo Train

Oh, how the kids love to play this game. I just got out a couple storage bins from the garage, put them together like a train, put some of Hannah's favorite stuffed animals into each "car," and then we mostly used our imagination after that. They had a great time.
Andrew most of the time was munching on the train "car" and Hannah was usually trying to make him laugh. Needless to say, the morning went by like a flash.

Washetko's came for a visit

Kristina's parents came for a visit over Christmas, and had a great time. Oma liked holding Andrew, especially when he was not crying.
He also loved pulling on Opa's beard. That was his favorite past time when they were visiting and I think Opa's beard is considerably longer because of it. :)
They treated us twice to sushi while they were here, and that sure was yummy.

Christmas 2008

Sorry, this is a little late coming, but here are a couple pictures from Christmas 2008. We had a great Christmas this year. Hannah REALLY enjoyed opening all of her presents and Andrew was more interested in the wrapping paper than what was inside of it.
