October 2011-December 2011

October 2011

This month Kristina did her first half-marathon. Wait...let's rephrase that. Not only did she run her first half-marathon but she ran 2 half-marathons in one month. Crazy! She first ran the Urban Cow race with friends Kaci and Traci.

The family came out for moral support.

Second half-marathon: 4-Bridges Folsom Half...the kiddos did a kids run as well!

Zittel's Pumpkin Patch

Grandma and Grandpa Rhodes came for a visit and got to go with us to the Pumpkin Patch.

The kids loved being pulled in a wagon (which was really supposed to be for the pumpkins!)

We got to go on a hay ride.

Picture of the whole family. It's so hard to get pictures of Travis in them! :)

Halloween

The day before, the kids got to scoop out the goop. Andrew thought it was fun, Hannah not so much.

Trick or Treating with the Wisners

Baby Jayne is such a cute Minnie Mouse

Eli followed us all around the block. He fit right in the Halloween mood.

November 2011

We turned a huge box into a box car. The kids had a blast decorating it. Lot's of time spent in the backyard with this new toy!

Hurray, for Fall leaves! The kiddos asked our next door neighbor Marsha if they could rake up her leaves into a pile (she has a HUGE tree in her front yard) so they could jump in it. They had a blast.

Travis has become quite the photographer. Here he took a picture of us using a remote, and a tripod. Can't wait to use them for our Christmas cards.

How cute are these two?

Hannah's handwriting has gotten so good! Look at this sweet note she wrote me. Awwww!!!

Our cat Eli likes to bring all kinds of fun stuff inside the house from the wild outdoors. Here's a mouse he didn't quite gobble us, and let go in our house! We had the hardest time ever trying to catch him, especially when he went under the stove. Finally we got him out, and caught him in a box. He is kind of cute (Travis AND the mouse).

We went to Walmart one morning, and there was Santa setting up a photo booth in one of the aisles. They asked us if we would like a complimentary picture with Santa. Hannah says "YES!" Andrew looked suspiciously at Santa and shook his head NO.The photographer said he could have a candy cane afterward if he took the picture. He jumped right up on Santa's lap, smiled nicely and we got a good Santa picture! :)

Another birthday for Travis. This time we celebrated it with creme brulee! Yum.

The kids and I wanted to do an art project, and they needed a stool for our bathroom to brush their teeth. We found this one at Michaels, so we bought some paint and decorated it Rhodes style.

December 2011

Hannah had her end of year performance at gymnastics. She just LOVES gymnastics. Such a fun show.

Check out this video of her performance.

Started off December with a CIM relay race. Got to run with these lovely ladies, Amy Plaster, Veronica Alderman, and Amy Givens.

Dovewood Court Christmas Lights. Every year (it's become a yearly tradition) we go to Dovewood Court in Orangevale and see all the houses lit up. It's a beautiful sight.

Look at the kids amazed faces as they are watching the Christmas lights.

Daddy turned our livingroom into a racetrack. The kids had a blast playing with their cars on it (especially Andrew).

We went to the Singing Christmas Tree this year with the whole family. Such a fun, family experience.
